Floor Trims
Transition strips reduce the risk of accidents for pedestrian traffic by providing a safe link between floorcoverings. A transition strip can also provide a safe joint where wheeled traffic is expected and ensures that trolleys can move freely between different types and heights of floorcovering, reducing the risk of trolleys tipping over.
Anodised aluminium skirtings provide a modern, streamlined finish for a variety of commercial environments.
Aluminium Skirting & Capping's Luxury Trims
LTS Luxury Trim System is a premium solution for the neat finishing of junctions between flooring materials.

Multi-purpose trims can also be used as recessed matwell frames.
Wetroom Transition Strips
Wetroom transition strips are designed to be incorporated into the resilient flooring in wetrooms and shower areas in order to contain water and prevent it encroaching into dry areas.Gradus WTS wetroom transition strips are tested for slip-resistance in barefoot areas and are designed to be safe and comfortable underfoot whilst allowing wheelchair access.
Feather edge trims
Feather edge trims are used to finish the raw, exposed edge of floorcoverings and provide a safe transition to the sub-floor.
Feather edge trims are typically used at the junction with terazzo or stone floors.
Available in either aluminium or pvc to suit resilient floorcoverings up to 3mm thickness.
Ramp Edge Trims
Ramp edge trims are used to join floorcoverings such as carpet or resilient flooring to floorcoverings of a lower height e.g. stone, concrete or resilient flooring.
They are designed to ensure a safe transition between floorcoverings whilst protecting the edges to minimise the risk of damage and to ensure that the edges do not lift and become a trip hazard.
Edge Trims
A range of edge trims used to form a joint between different types of floorcovering such as carpet, carpet tiles, wood laminate and resilient floorcoverings. Provides protection to the edges of the floorcoverings whilst providing an attractive feature strip.
Available in PVC-u and aluminium.
Aluminium trim TA8 is ideal as a day joint profile for resin floors as it is suitable for on-site polishing and finishing.
Transition T Profile
Transition T profiles are used for joining different floorcoverings of the same, or slightly differing, heights. They are available in anodised aluminium and brass. The design of the T profiles allows slight imperfections in joints and cuts to be hidden, and enables a gap between floor finishes to be incorporated during installation to allow for natural expansion in flooring materials such as ceramics and wood. Profiles can be curved on-site for shaped edges and inlays.
T profiles are fitted after the floorcoverings have been installed, making them ideal for use when the installation of the floorcoverings is undertaken by different trades (e.g. ceramic contractors and flooring contractors) where the trims cannot be fixed until both floors have been completed.
Square Edge Trim
Gradus square edge floor trims are typically used with carpet, carpet tile, wood and wood laminate at the junction with other flooring materials such as other carpets, ceramics and wood.
Square edge trims provide a neat finish to floorcoverings, protecting the edges from damage and also hiding any slight imperfections in joints or cuts.
Gradus square edge trims are available in natural and anodised aluminium.
Selected square edges are also available with pre-punched bases and tabs for on-site curving.
Trans-Edge Heavy-Duty Trims
Trans-Edge trims have been designed for use in the most demanding environments where frequent heavy foot and trolley traffic can be expected.
Available in a choice of gauges, Trans-Edge trims are manufactured in high quality aluminium to withstand repeated heavy traffic impacts. The incorporation of Gradus Interior insert material provides a slip-resistant surface as well as allowing either a complementary or contrasting colour choice to blend with the surrounding floor finishes. Inserts are fitted on site to allow concealed fixings.
For use with heavy foot and trolley traffic.Gradus Trans-Edge trims reduce the risk of accidents for pedestrian and trolley traffic by providing a safe link between floorcoverings.
Trans-Edge profiles are designed for use in severe pedestrian and trolley traffic applications e.g. railway stations, airports, transport interchanges, department stores, high street shops and hospitals.
A choice of profiles is available for joining floorcoverings on different levels (ELAR) or of similar heights (ELACS).
Profiles comprise an aluminium base with pvc slip-resistant inserts.
Cover Strips
Cover StripsUsed to join floorcoverings of a similar thickness.
20mm brushed stainless steel, 1mm thick.SCSM471 is a 20mm wide, brushed finish stainless steel cover strip which provides a bridge to cover joints between floorcoverings of the same or slightly differing heights e.g. carpet and carpet tiles.
It ensures that joins are neat and safe as well as protecting the exposed edges of the floorcoverings.
Cover strips are typically used at door thresholds.
Suitable for use in heavy traffic environments.
SCSM471 is supplied pre-drilled (centrally) and countersunk.
Joint Trim
Joint Trim
A range of anodised aluminium floor trims used to provide a neat join where floorcoverings of the same height meet.
Joint trims protect the edges of the floorcoverings and provide a safe transition between them.
Joint profiles are available in two finishes - Polished and Silver Anodised - and are available to suit floorcoverings, such as thin gauge carpet and resilient flooring, of 3mm and 4mm in height.
Profiles are available with solid flanges for straight laying, or with pre-punched tabs and fixing holes for on-site curving.
JT365
Aluminium - polished or silver anodised - for use with 3mm floorcoverings.JT365 is an aluminium floor trim used to provide a neat join where floorcoverings of the same height meet. It protects the edges of the floorcoverings and provides a safe transition between them. Available in both Polished (F3) and Silver Anodised (F4) finishes, JT365 is suitable for use with resilient floorcoverings of 3mm thickness.
